What are the Schools Like?

The Vail School District has an outstanding public school system that in recent years has won many awards and comes highly praised by local citizens. In a recent evaluation, the district was given an A grade, which demonstrates the city’s commitment to educational excellence. There is only 1 elementary school located in the Vail community. There are 3 different middle schools to pick from and two high schools. The community is located close to Tucson, where several major colleges are located for those who are soon to graduate.

Who Lives there?

The people who own the majority of the Tucson homes in the Vail community are between the ages of 25 to 44. The community is one that is young, thriving, and comprised of many families with young children. Close to 70% of the population are married and 43% have kids who are still minors. Most of the family households in the community are made up of about three people including children.

The community is also proudly multicultural with many different races and cultures represented in their population. A great deal of the people there claim to be from two different races with a large grouping of White, Hispanic, and Latino people residing in the city. These are just a few of the major races residing in Vail; there are also many African American and Native American citizens as well.
