Getting Your Gas Hooked Up
One of the things you’ll need to think about when moving into your Tucson home is getting your gas hooked up.
Southwest Gas handles much of the gas service for Tucson homes, and that could very well include yours.
If you use gas for cooking or heating your home, you’ll want to get it set up as quickly as possible so that you don’t have to go without. This is especially true in the colder months where you may want to turn your heat on. While Tucson probably isn’t going to get so cold you can’t live without it, why should you be uncomfortable any longer than you have to?
A Phone Call Away
If you have previously owned Tucson homes, then you may already have an account with Southwest Gas, in which case, a phone call is all it will take to get your service transferred to your new address. They’ll simply change the information in their computer system, and you should be able to seamlessly get gas.
If this is your first home in the area, then you’ll have to get a new account set up. This may require a deposit or even a credit check, depending on many factors, which the account representative will likely go over with you. If you don’t currently have gas, but would like to run a gas line, for cooking for example, then they’ll tell you how to go about getting that set up. It’s not as difficult as you may think.
Don’t Delay
You’ll want to call Southwest Gas as soon as possible after moving into your new Tucson real estate, especially if you must sign up for a new account, as there may be delays in getting set up. Either way, you don’t want to have to go one day without gas, so call Southwest Gas today.
