A Long History
Baker Shelby Collier trained at the Madison Sourdough Bread Company so that he could bring his love of baking and fresh bread to the people of Tucson. After traveling all the way from Madison, Wisconsin, this dedicated baker set up shop in Tucson in 1998. Soon, the staff rocketed from ten to more than 160. While not originally part of the company’s business plan, Beyond Bread started selling sandwiches as well. Today, they are a Tucson favorite, with three different locations.

Caring for Tucson
At Beyond Bread, they want to make sure that everyone has enough to eat. Every day, the Community Food Bank receives left over bread from the bakery for redistribution all over Southern Arizona. Beyond Bread is involved in the Tucson community through involvement with multiple local and national non-profits.
