Plenty of Great Tucson Schools
Whenever someone is moving to a new area, he or she inevitably asks about the local school system. Parents want to make sure that their children receive a great education. Fortunately, for those who are considering buying Tucson real estate, you will have plenty of great schools for your children.
The Different School Districts
Tucson is large, and it encompasses far more than just the city proper. The outlying areas are part of the community as well, and you will note a number of different school districts that cover all of these different locales. School districts in the Tucson area include Altar Valley, Amphitheater, Catalina Foothills, Continental, Flowing Wells, Marana, Sahuarita, Sunnyside, Tanque, Tucson Unified, and Vail.
Within these school districts are elementary, middle, and high schools. Depending on your location within the city, you will fall into a certain school district. Many of the schools in the area are top notch, and it’s always a good idea for a parent to make an effort to do a bit more research into the school that the child attends or will be attending.
Private Schools and Charter Schools
Parents will also find a large number of charter and private schools available for their children in addition to the public schools. If you would rather your child attended one of these types of schools, it’s nice to know that you have many from which you can choose. Some of the popular charter schools include the Sonoran Science Academy, BASIS Charter School, and Satori Charter School. Private schools include St. Gregory College Preparatory, Saint Michael’s Parish Day School, and the Tucson Hebrew Academy.
