Vail School District
The Vail School District was founded in 1903 as a one room school house and is now one of the fastest growing school districts in Arizona. One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Vail School District is the positive relationship that exists between the school district and the surrounding community. Local businesses, government officials, and non-profit organizations often step to the plate to cheer on students, to assist parents, and to celebrate teachers. The Vail schools are known as excelling schools and have won many awards and honors. The Vail School District itself currently serves approximately 9,000 students and employs over 1,200 people.
