Dorado Country Club Course

Discover the Dorado Country Club in Tucson

Dorado Country Club CourseResidents of Tucson love to golf, and many people travel to the area every year just to make use of the many golf courses located in the city and surrounding area.  You don’t have to own Tucson real estate to enjoy playing at the Dorado Country Club.  This golf course, which has been a staple of the golfing community since 1971, is open to the public, and that means you don’t need a membership to join in the fun.

Excellent Challenges Available

This course was designed by Ted Robinson, Sr., and features eighteen challenging holes.  There are two sets of tees for different skill levels, and that means you can enjoy yourself even if you’re a beginner.  There isn’t a driving range available, but there is a in-house golf professional to help you improve your drive, if you choose to take advantage of the assistance.

Pricing and Payment Information

Because membership isn’t required, you don’t need to worry about membership fees.  You can expect to pay twenty dollars each time you visit as a part of the green fees.  It doesn’t matter if you visit during the week or on the weekend; the price is always the same.  You can rent your golf clubs and golf cart when you’re there, which makes it even easier for beginners who don’t yet have their own set of clubs.
Payment can always be made with cash, though the Dorado Country Club may accept some credit cards.  Be prepared with either when you arrive, as there may be different requirements for green fees and assistance from the golf pro.

Attire Expected

When you visit, you should be dressed in proper golf attire.  The shoes you wear are important, as no metal spikes are allowed on the course.  Be sure you have what you need when you arrive, or you won’t be allowed to play.
