The Wall Street Journal has referred to Tucson as a "mini-Mecca for the arts." Tucson offers a wealth of cultural activities including theater, opera, ballet, symphony, galleries and museums. For performing arts Tucson is home to the Tucson Symphony, Gaslight Theatre, Ballet Tucson and Tucson's Arizona Theatre Company. The University and U.A.
