Where is Green Valley Foothills Located?

Green Valley is a suburb of Tucson that is 20 miles south of the city, which is about a half hour drive. The community is close to the Santa Rita Mountains and is 26 square miles of land. The last census collected states that the vast majority of Tucson homes in the Green Valley Foothills community are owned by individuals in their 60s who have retired. The number of children in the community is fairly low, as the community primarily houses married couples and singles over the age of 55. The people who live in the community are comprised of many different ethnic backgrounds, although the majority of residents are White or mixed races. Single people who live alone are roughly 25% of the population of the area.

Most of the families who own these pieces of Tucson real estate make an annual income of close to $48,000. The single females who live in the area make a significant amount less than their male counterparts. Females make close to $26,000, while the men make an average of $34,000.
